Audemars Piguet celebrates 50 years of Byblos with two special editions

 The Swiss watchmaker has indeed created two sublime limited editions of the Royal Oak Offshore for the prestigious palace.

Famous for having hosted the biggest international stars such as Grace Jones, Jack Nicholson, Cher, Mick Jagger and Brigitte Bardot – who is also the establishment’s godmother – the Hotel Byblos in Saint-Tropez celebrated its fifty candles on May 26.

For the first time in the brand’s history, Audemars Piguet fake watches has created two limited series (one for men, one for women), dedicated to the Hotel Byblos.

 Each produced in 50 copies, they take up the identity design of the Royal Oak Offshore chronograph, while associating them with the aesthetic codes of the hotel on the Côte d’Azur.

This exclusive series includes a women’s version in steel, set with diamonds, and a men’s model in rose gold.

 Water-resistant to 50 meters, the feminine piece features a stainless steel case, screw-down crown and pushers, silver dial with “Lady Tapisserie” pattern and rose gold hands with luminescent coating .

 The bezel is set with 32 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 1.02 carats.

 The men’s model in 18K pink gold features a “Mega Tapisserie” dial punctuated with blue transfers matched with hands and indexes in pink gold.

 This chronograph is water resistant to 100 meters.

 On the back, both editions are engraved with the hotel’s anniversary dates as well as the palace’s historic coat of arms, which symbolizes the abduction of Europa by Zeus.
